Stephen Schaffenberger

is a professional illustrator, board game designer, and storyboard artist living in Brooklyn, New York. 

He is the owner and senior art director for Dragonleaf Gaming, a board and digital game company that specializes in fantasy card games. Stephen has poured thousands of hours into his award winning, fantasy card game, Fable’s End and is eager to launch his next title.

As the child of an Air Force Colonel, Stephen’s upbringing exposed him to both Japanese and western European aesthetics. Stephen has spent his life cultivating a style that merges the two into a voice that’s entirely his own.

Stephen earned his MFA in illustration from FIT in New York in 2016.
